Edward Gibbon lived from 1737-1794 and left behind the legacy of an extraordinary book entitled “The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire”. He was one of the first scholars to use an extensive range of original historic sources which were thoroughly documented but the implications of his work have a particular interest to the student of the Bible.
Geoff Henstock lives in Adelaide and a few years ago wrote a book entitled “Gibbon for Christadelphians”. He speaks with Wilderness Conversations.
The book is available online from Christadelphian Scripture Study Service or the Christadelphian magazine.
